Some songs come at the right time, and “We Move” by Mercy Chinwo is one of them. Released in October 2024, the song is all about moving forward with confidence, knowing that God has already gone ahead to make a way.
From the moment the song starts, the message is clear. No matter the challenges, there is no room for giving up or looking back. Mercy Chinwo keeps reminding listeners that with God on your side, it’s always “forward ever, backward never.” It’s a simple message, but one that has encouraged many people.
One reason “We Move” became so popular is because it’s easy to sing along with. The chorus sticks in your head after just a few listens, making it a favourite in churches, fellowship meetings and even on people’s daily playlists. It’s the kind of song that lifts your spirit and leaves you feeling hopeful.
By the time this song was released, Mercy Chinwo had already become one of Africa’s biggest gospel ministers with songs like Excess Love, Obinasom, Wonder, You Do This One, and Give Me Chance. “We Move” continued that journey and later became part of her In His Will album, showing her commitment to making songs that strengthen people’s faith.
Produced by Skerz, the song combines uplifting lyrics with beautiful melodies and clean production, making it one you’ll want to play over and over again. Whether you’re starting a new week, facing a difficult season, or simply thanking God for His goodness, “We Move” is a song that reminds you to keep moving forward.
