Mercy Chinwo closed out September with a fresh praise single, “My God, You Are Good”, and the message is every bit as simple as the title.
The song celebrates the goodness, love and protection of God and invites you to answer with thanks. Its call and response style fits a thanksgiving service just as well as your quiet time at home.
Born in Rivers State, Mercy first came into the spotlight by winning Nigerian Idol before giving herself fully to gospel music. “Excess Love” made her a household name across Africa, and in 2025 she won the Headies award for Best Inspirational Single with “You Do This One”.
Count your blessings as you go. Watch the official video below, then stream “My God, You Are Good” and give thanks along with Mercy Chinwo.
