Little Yakira Just Got Showered With Designer Gifts, and We Have Guesses About Who’s Behind It

Rakeem, son of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux, sent Toke Makinwa’s daughter Yakira designer gifts for her first birthday, and fans can’t stop smiling.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on Toke Makinwa’s daughter Yakira, you already know she’s basically Nigerian entertainment royalty at one year old. And now, she’s got a whole designer wardrobe to prove it.

Here’s the gist: Rakeem, the son of influencer Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, just sent Yakira a full set of luxury birthday gifts. We’re talking a pink designer bag, a pair of Crocs, and a Gucci shirt. Not bad for a one-year-old’s admirer, right?

Toke shared everything online, including the little note that came tucked inside the package. It read, “Happy birthday girlfriend X.” Cute, dramatic, and exactly the kind of thing that gets Nigerian Twitter buzzing.

She didn’t stop there either. Toke posted a sweet thank-you message too: “Thank you, Rakeem. We cannot wait to celebrate with you tomorrow. Yakira loves her crocs so much.”
Wait, this isn’t the first time

If this feels familiar, that’s because it is. Back in April, Toke had already jokingly called Priscilla “the mother of my son-in-law,” teasing a future between the two toddlers. She even joked, “This is the mother of my son-in-law. They have money. They have plenty of money from Tanzania.”

Since then, the two kids have actually hung out. Toke once shared clips of them riding toy cars together, watching cartoons, being typical one-year-olds. Except, you know, one of them reportedly rolled up in a Range Rover and gifted Yakira a pink G-Wagon. As you do, apparently.

Part of the fun here is timing. Yakira just turned one on August 7, and Toke used the moment to finally show her daughter’s face to the public after keeping her hidden for a whole year. She called Yakira her “precious answered prayer” and “greatest blessing.”

Rakeem, on the other hand, had his own face reveal just a few weeks earlier, on August 24, when he also turned one.

So really, both families have spent the past year building anticipation, then dropped their big reveals back to back. Now this playful “in-law” storyline is picking up steam again, and fans are here for every bit of it.
