A heated dispute has erupted online between socialite and influencer Papaya Ex and the brother of her former personal assistant. The man has accused her of unpaid salary, humiliation, and even collecting his phone.
The controversy began when a man identified as Emma took to social media to call out Papaya Ex. He claimed that his 19 year old sister worked as her PA. According to him, after Papaya Ex lost her iPhone 16 Pro Max at a movie premiere, she stopped paying his sister’s salary .
He said his sister has continued working for three months without pay. Her monthly salary is N120,000 .
But that is not all. Emma also made a more disturbing allegation. He claimed that when he went to beg on his sister’s behalf, Papaya Ex humiliated him. He said he was forced to strip down to his boxers while pleading with her .
On top of that, he alleged that she collected his phone. He explained that he is a mobile videographer, so taking his phone directly affects his ability to work .
Emma also added another serious claim. He alleged that Papaya Ex’s mother assaulted him with a shovel. He said the attack resulted in a dislocated arm .

She admitted taking Emma’s phone. But she said it happened because he allegedly threatened to abscond instead of standing as guarantor for his sister at the police station .
Papaya Ex also expressed disappointment over the situation. She insisted that she had shown kindness to the young woman by providing allowances and support beyond her salary. She maintained that she does not deserve the backlash surrounding the controversy .
