So Liz Anjorin got a court order slapped on her a few days ago, telling her to stop posting about Iyabo Ojo’s family. Guess what she did with it? Basically laughed it off and kept going.
If you’ve been following this Liz Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo drama, you already know it’s been dragging on for almost two years now. Two grown women, both big names in Nollywood, throwing shade, accusations, and lawsuits at each other like it’s a full time job. And just when you think it’s cooled down, one of them says something that sets it off all over again.
This time it’s Liz. On September 2, a Lagos court gave an interim order stopping her from posting anything about Priscilla Ojo (Iyabo’s daughter), her husband Juma Jux, or their little son Rakeem. The order came after Priscilla and her family rushed to court asking for protection, especially for the child, after Liz kept dragging them online.
You’d think that would quiet things down, right? Nope. Liz went live not long after and basically said the case doesn’t even scare her.
“Your case na dead on arrival,” she said. Her argument is that the Ojos posted the court papers online before they even served her properly, and according to her, that alone makes the whole thing shaky.
But here’s the part that really got people talking. In that same live session, Liz didn’t sound like someone backing off at all. She sounded like someone who felt she’d finally won something.
“I have destroyed you, Iyabo Ojo. I make your children feel the heat,” she said. “This is my payback time, Iyabo. I just achieved my aim.”
That’s a heavy thing to say out loud, especially with a court order fresh on the table. It makes you wonder what “payback” even means to her at this point, and whether she’s thinking about how this affects a child caught in the middle of two adults’ beef.
Remember, this isn’t a small squabble. Iyabo had already filed a N1 billion defamation suit against Liz before all this. So there’s real money and real reputations on the line, not just social media noise.
Whatever happens next in court, one thing is clear: Liz Anjorin isn’t the type to go quiet just because a judge told her to. Whether that works out for her is a different story entirely.
