Some song titles explain themselves, and this one is pure Warri pidgin. “Na so the world they be” is what our people say when life throws something you cannot change, a mix of a sigh and a shrug.
Okpan Arhibo is often called the King of Urhobo music. A 2016 report on his United States tour credited him with about 200 albums and described that trip as the first US tour by an Urhobo traditional musician.
This recording now sits on his official Topic channel on YouTube, close to sixteen minutes long, beside other titles like “Ogonigoni” that we have shared here.
Sit back, play the official audio below and let the old master talk about life.
