For many Urhobo homes, a Saturday is not complete until an Okpan Arhibo record starts playing somewhere in the compound. “America Ojevwe” is another long one from the man fans call the King of Urhobo music, and it gives you more than seventeen minutes of his easy, storytelling groove.
The recording reached streaming platforms in November 2022, when Music Tempo Productions released it through TuneCore. It now sits on the official Okpan Arhibo Topic channel on YouTube alongside the rest of his digital catalogue.
We shared “Akpodiogaga” from the same catalogue only yesterday, so if that one brought back memories, keep this one on repeat for the elders in your house.
Play the official audio below, sit back and let the old Urhobo sound fill the room.
