Some gospel songs never go out of style, and “Bianule” by Samsong is definitely one of them.
Released during one of the strongest periods of Samsong’s music career, “Bianule” is a joyful song of thanksgiving. The word “Bianule” is an Igbo expression that means “Come and see,” while the repeated phrase “Imela” means “Thank You.” Throughout the song, Samsong celebrates God’s goodness and encourages everyone to come and see what the Lord has done in his life.
One reason the song became so popular is because of its simple message. You don’t have to think too hard about the lyrics. It’s a song that reminds you to be grateful for God’s blessings, whether big or small. The lively beat and catchy chorus also make it a favourite in churches, praise gatherings and gospel concerts.
By the time “Bianule” was released, Samsong had already built a name for himself as one of Nigeria’s leading gospel artists. Known for hit songs like “Odogwu,” “Keleya,” and later “È Dey Work,” he has consistently released music that mixes praise, worship and contemporary African sounds.
More than ten years later, “Bianule” is still loved by many gospel music fans. It’s one of those songs that instantly brings an atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving whenever it starts playing, making it a timeless addition to any gospel playlist.
