Orezi, born Esegine Orezi Allen, grew up in Owhelogbo in Isoko land long before “Rihanna” made him a household name in 2013.
“Start to Dance” comes from Chocolate Daddy, the nine-track EP that marked his comeback in October 2023. As the title suggests, the song is all about getting people on their feet.
It later got a remix with Ugandan singer Rema Namakula, which carried the vibe from West Africa to the East.
For Isoko people, it is always sweet to see one of our own keeping the dance floor busy.
