Some songs don’t need to be loud to grab your attention, and “JARA” by Hamzydrex featuring Lummy G is a good example. Released in 2022, the song introduced fans to the chemistry between both artists, a partnership they’ve continued on several other songs over the years.
Right from the first verse, JARA gives off a relaxed Afrobeat vibe that’s easy to enjoy. The beat is smooth, the hook is catchy, and both Hamzydrex and Lummy G take their time to deliver their verses without trying to do too much. It’s the kind of song that grows on you the more you listen.
One interesting thing about this collaboration is that it wasn’t their last. After JARA, the two artists worked together again on songs like 2:20, Èkó, and IN A MIN, showing they’ve built a strong musical connection over the years.
Produced by Celestino, the song blends modern Afrobeat with a calm, feel good sound that’s perfect for a drive, a weekend hangout or simply relaxing after a busy day.
If you’re just discovering Hamzydrex or you’re already a fan of Lummy G, “JARA” is definitely one of those songs worth adding to your playlist. It may have been released a few years ago, but it still has that fresh sound that makes it enjoyable today.
