After “Wetin We Gain” made his name across Nigeria, Victor AD did not slow down. He opened 2019 with “Tire You” and brought Davido along for the ride.
The singer, who traces his roots to Ughelli in Delta State, stayed with the hustle theme his fans already loved, this time with OBO by his side. On Victor AD’s official Audiomack page alone, it has gathered over seven million plays.
Kulboy, the producer who later worked with him on records like “Olofofo”, handled the beat here too.

The kind of life “Tire You” refuses to accept
Culture Custodian described the song as a motivational record and “another variation of a motivational song” after “Wetin We Gain”. In Pidgin, Victor AD and Davido sing about being fed up with a life that is not moving forward. That feeling of being tired of the same struggle, day after day, is what gives the song its title.
The same review noted that Davido was brought in “to ensure the bass led mid-tempo track lands in the right spot.”
