The record is “Eme Okpako Ubi”, which the official release dates to 1982. Unearthed African Recordings brought it back in 2024 as a remaster, the same label effort that returned “Egbile Isoko” to the public.
At almost thirteen minutes, this is old school Isoko highlife the way our fathers knew it: long grooves, no rush, and plenty of space for the band to stretch out.
Press play on the official remastered audio below and enjoy a proper slice of 1980s Isoko music.
