Just when many fans were still talking about “Akponana,” veteran Isoko singer Adaz returned with another fresh release titled “Ayakata.” The song continues his comeback run and reminds listeners why his music still connects with both old and new fans.
If you’ve followed Adaz since the days of “Zarokome,” you’ll notice that he hasn’t lost his touch. He still knows how to put together simple lyrics, catchy melodies and that unique Isoko sound people have loved for years. Instead of trying to sound like everyone else, Adaz sticks to what he knows best, and that’s one of the things that makes this song enjoyable.
“Ayakata” is the kind of song you can easily play at home, in the car or while hanging out with friends. The beat is easy to follow, the chorus is catchy, and before long you’ll find yourself singing along.
For many Isoko music lovers, seeing Adaz actively releasing new songs again is something worth celebrating. As one of the artists who helped take Isoko music beyond Delta State, every new release from him brings back memories while also giving younger listeners something fresh to enjoy.
