AY Makun says some Nigerian artistes now ask for up to N200m to perform at comedy shows. Here’s why he’s urging fans to come for the jokes, not just music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You buy a ticket to a comedy show, and somewhere in your mind, you expect a few big musicians to show up too. AY Makun says that expectation has become very, very expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comedian revealed that some Nigerian artistes now ask for as much as N200 million to perform at a comedy show. That’s not a typo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He shared this in a video, and his message to fans was simple: please come for the comedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
