Nollywood actor Stan Nze has finally addressed the reason behind the marriage content he shares with his wife Blessing Obasi online. And his explanation is very different from what many people assumed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The actor recently sat down for an interview with The PUNCH. He opened up about why he and his wife began sharing their marriage journey on social media. According to him, it was never planned to influence anyone or set relationship standards .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“When we got married, we were just looking to share our stories genuinely. We were not trying to encourage anybody; we just wanted to tell our authentic marriage stories,” Stan Nze said .<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
He explained that what fans see online is simply a reflection of their real lives as a couple. The positive response from people was never expected. But once the love started pouring in, he and his wife decided to keep going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“It says one thing: we have to keep doing what we are doing. We have to keep it up and not drop the ball because our stories are inspiring people,” he added .<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
That was the first part of his confession. But the actor also made a bold statement about veteran actress Bimbo Akintola that got fans talking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stan Nze revealed that his latest movie project, When Moremi Falls, was written specifically with Bimbo Akintola in mind. He did not just admire her from a distance. He actually created a whole film for her .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“I have always wanted to work with Bimbo Akintola. We wrote it for her. I looked at her, searched for something that would fit her, and the idea came,” the actor explained .<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
This is very different from having a celebrity crush or wanting to marry someone. Stan Nze was talking about professional admiration. He respects Bimbo Akintola as an actress so much that he built an entire project around her talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The actor also used the interview to speak about creativity in Nollywood. He urged filmmakers to stop playing safe and start telling original stories. He said audiences are ready for anything as long as the story connects with them emotionally .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“Nigerians don’t even know what they want until you serve them,” he stated .<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Fans have since reacted to his comments. Many people praised him for being honest about his marriage content. Others appreciated his respect for Bimbo Akintola. A few people, however, misunderstood his words and thought he was confessing romantic feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His marriage to Blessing Obasi remains strong. The couple got married in 2021 and welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2023 .
