Tobey Maguire officiated Jennifer Meyer’s wedding to Nigerian music executive Geoff Ogunlesi in Hawaii on Saturday, October 10. Their own divorce had only been finalised on September 21. That’s just a few weeks earlier.
Yes, you read that right.

The ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai. Jennifer is a 49-year-old jewellery designer, and Geoff is 34.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guest list was ridiculous. Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren S\u00e1nchez Bezos, Courteney Cox, Kate Hudson, Kris Jenner, stylist Rachel Zoe and rapper Young Thug were all reportedly there.
But honestly, nobody’s talking about the guests. They’re talking about the man standing at the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tobey and Jennifer’s two kids, Ruby Sweetheart and Otis Tobias, were there too. Picture it: their mum getting married while their dad leads the ceremony. That’s a very grown-up family moment.

The couple met in 2003 and married in 2007. They announced their split in October 2016, but the legal side dragged on. Jennifer filed for divorce in 2020, and it wasn’t final until this September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, they never really drifted apart. According to People, they’ve stayed close and kept co-parenting. Jennifer has also said Geoff and Tobey get along well. So maybe this isn’t as shocking as it sounds. It’s just rare to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, who’s Geoff?
His dad is Nigerian-born billionaire investor Adebayo Ogunlesi, who founded Global Infrastructure Partners. BlackRock bought that firm in 2024 in a multibillion-dollar deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Geoff built his own lane. In 2022, he started The Ogunlesi Group, a Los Angeles-based music and entertainment management company, and he’s its CEO. Young Thug has been on its roster.
He and Jennifer reportedly started dating in 2023 and got engaged in August 2024. They also welcomed a baby girl earlier this year.
