My Isoko people, enough is enough
For too long, our communities have been forced to live in darkness like we do not matter, businesses are suffering, students are struggling to study at night, families are spending money on fuel every week, and our elderly people are enduring heat and discomfort daily, this is not normal, and it should not be accepted as our reality
At iSokoVibe, we have spoken about this issue before, and we will continue to speak until something is done, because electricity is not a luxury, it is a basic need, and Isoko deserves better
We are not asking for too much, we are only asking for what every community in Delta State should have, stable power supply that will allow our people to live and grow
The truth is simple, any government that cannot provide light to the people cannot expect the people to keep quiet, and now that political campaigns are starting, this is the right time for Isoko to speak with one voice and demand action
We strongly support the growing protest and online movement calling attention to this hardship, because the suffering is real, and our people have endured it for too long
So as the elections are approaching, our message is clear and peaceful
If there is no light, there should be no vote
This is not about fighting anyone, it is about demanding fairness, development, and respect for Isoko land
We call on all political leaders, stakeholders, and government officials to treat this issue with urgency, Isoko people are tired, and we are watching closely
Isoko deserves light, Isoko deserves progress, Isoko deserves better
NO LIGHT, NO VOTE
