Comedian Mc2kingdom who was arrested by Chief Matthew Edevbie for criticism over an abandoned project in Ozoro, Delta State has been released after the intervention of many isoko leaders and people.

Since his arrest there have been uproar on social media by the people of isoko community calling for the comedian to be released with immediate effect

With His Friends and family also make moves to ensure his release and safe return home

However, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas representing the Delta South Senatorial District made a post on Facebook, calling for calm amongst the angered isoko people that he was in talk with Chief Matthew Edevbie over the release of the arrested young man

Information reaching us now indicates that the Comedian Mc2kingdom has now been released Unconditionally, in an appreciation post of Facebook by Christian Otagba who happens to be his brother,

He Stated;

On behalf of the Otagba family in Ofagbe, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to all individuals and organizations who united in solidarity to advocate for the release of our beloved brother, uncle, and son, Mr. Ajirioghene Otagba, from custody at the Maitama Police Station in Abuja.

I would particularly like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, the Senator representing the Delta South Senatorial District; Rt. Hon. Pst. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, House of Representatives member for Isoko North and South Federal Constituency; Hon. Bernard Odior, member of the House of Assembly for Isoko North; Prof. Chris Akpotu, the President of the Isoko Development Union (IDU); Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area; Hon. Warri Ovoke Friday, Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area; Barrister Akpovienehe Duncan Afahokor; Barr. Words may not fully capture my gratitude for the unwavering support and advocacy that led to a successful resolution regarding Mr. Ajirioghene Otagba, aka Mc 2kingdom. This collective effort exemplifies the resilience and unity of the Isoko people, youth, and various organizations. As the saying goes, “United we stand, divided we fall.”
